Roger Federer defeated Andy Roddick in a marathon match played in central Wimbledon lawn tennis court last weekend.
Non other than Pete Sampras himself was present to witness the history being made by the greatest tennis player Mankind has ever produced. For 4 hours and 45 minutes; i put my head on the couch and didn't move- for the longest time period in my living memory ( What a coincidence, Ha!)
Andy's assessment ' Sorry Pete, I couldn't hold on.'
Guess what, Roger had already got a blazer with 15 embroidered over it- There aren't many things in this world which can not be predicted. Except the fact that the last game point took both of them 45 minutes to decide over a win or loose.
